Want to join us as a subcontractor?
"Working with our subcontractors is a partnership"
At Onward Construction, we firmly believe that construction projects are not just about bricks, steel, and concrete. They are about people—skilled craftsmen, dedicated trade partners, and subcontractors who bring their expertise and passion to the job. We operate on the fundamental principle that every subcontractor, is a valuable partner contributing to our collective success.

Subcontractor Expectations

Safety
Safety is extremely important in the construction industry. We want to make sure everyone gets home to their friends and family. Another added benefit to safety is the money saved on insurance premiums. We offer safety incentives for each project completed with a solid safety standing. However, safety shouldn't be rewarded, safety is expected, the safety incentives help the construction team not get complacent.

Requests for Information (RFI)
We expect our subcontractors to submit Requests for Information (RFIs) prior to construction. This essential step ensures clarity, resolves potential issues, and paves the way for a seamless construction process. With your experience and attention to detail, commitment to early issue resolution will be vital to the success of our projects. Early detection is part of our expectations.

Design Building Contracting
We expect our subcontractors to possess the capability to design building systems in accordance with local codes. Not only that, but also to demonstrate exceptional skills in bringing those designs to life through construction.

BIM & VDC - 3D modeling
Incorporating Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), Building Information Modeling (BIM), and 3D modeling technologies into construction projects are critical to the flow of the project. Trade partners are encouraged to adopt BIM within their construction and design process. Weekly coordination meetings ensure collaboration among all involved trades.
